Gertrude Opera at M-Pavilion
a many-splendoured thing
Gertrude Opera artists filled the M-Pavilion with love-arias and music of exquisite beauty, sheer madness and utter tragedy. Tunes to soften the hardest hearts and skill to thrill. Opera is stories, ours and others', sung in and of special places.
MPavilion is a new civic space, a cultural laboratory in which to experiment and experience, an event hub and a meeting place. The fourth M-Pavilion was designed by Netherlands–based architects Rem Koolhaas and David Gianotten of OMA. Creators of modern architectural icons, OMA is a prolific international practice of worldwide distinction and influence. MPavilion continues OMA’s history of successful and influential architectural and cultural projects www.mpavilion.org
