WE SING STORIES OF TODAY, AND TOMORROW.

We’re a visionary collective of artists creating a sustainable place for contemporary arts in Australia; a catalyst in the opera journey for new generations.

We’ve been boldly sharing stories in song since 2008, inviting all inquisitive minds to experience the artform we love; and developing talent pipelines along the way.

We believe in the transformative power of the arts, for both the audience and those centre stage. By telling stories our way, we’re challenging conventions, pushing boundaries and creating a home for contemporary opera in Australia.

Come curious, leave inspired.

Opera for schools: a (singing) lesson in inclusion

There is sibling quibbling in the Gruff household - there is a misunderstood creatur living under the bridge - how are Milly, Silly and Willy Gruff going to get to their audition at the opera house?!

This is more than just a performance. Fig-a-Troll is an opportunity to inspire, educate and unite young people. A timeless re-telling of the story of 3 Billy Goats Gruff, this 45 minute opera for children combines music, storytelling, visual arts and design to teach the importance of embracing diversity.

Featuring music by Rossini that gives an Australian operatic treatment to cartoon music you will know and love. Sung in English, children will feel engaged, inspired and empowered.
